Parish Census
From 14 February 2026 until Easter there will be the opportunity to complete the Parish census form. This is important as a record of living in the parish and practising here. It was very useful after Covid to invite people back to the parish mass in the Church, thanks to your generosity in putting the cards through the doors. They are not obligatory but a good means to keep in contact.
For children I would be grateful if the current year group was added, so those in year 2 can be invited to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
St Winefride's Quiz Night
Parishioners especially are welcome to the Parish Quiz night. Enter a team of up to 8 people or you will be invited to join a team with other parishioners if you don’t have one. Last year a team that gathered for the first time that evening, won a close contest.
It is also a social event, meeting new people taking part in the auction of international desserts and enjoying the card and cash bar with non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available.
Tickets are £20, including fish and chips, and can be purchased in the Church in March or by emailing stwparishquiz@gmail.com.
All proceeds go to the Dons Local Action Group, who support people facing severe financial hardship across South West London.

Hope in Adoration
The Archbishop of Southwark explained that “it is by understanding that the Lord Jesus is present in the Eucharist, that we can begin to understand why worship before the Blessed Sacrament provides such fulfilment”.
He has therefore urged people to make spending time in Eucharistic adoration to find the hope Christ offers a priority for 2025.
