Mass Times

Sunday

  • Sunday Vigil – Saturday 6pm
  • 9am with hymns
  • 11am with choir and children’s liturgy (from the beginning of mass till the offertory) in the children’s chapel during term time. Children  of nursery age and above and who are toilet trained, will be invited. Parents are not allowed to stay for safeguarding reasons. The team looking after them will have had DBS clearance checks.

 

Next weekend 22/23 November there is a 2nd  collection for the diocesan youth team, who are developing an outreach to young adults in particular.

No mass on Mondays

Tuesday to Saturday
Mass is at 9.30 am (in chapel to the left of the alter)

Holy Day of Obligation
Masses are at 9.30 am and 6 pm

Confession
This is available at 11 am on Saturdays.

Anointing of the sick
Advent and Lent, or on request.

Following an opening prayer in Merton and Sutton cemetery, Priests and Deacons will be present to bless graves with the families present. Join them in a service of blessing.

Monthly National Days of Prayer and Fasting for Life
A great prayer for life is urgently needed. Please pray and fast for the end of abortion and euthanasia. Your prayer and fasting is urgently needed.

Merton Deanery Day of Recollection: ‘The Mass’
Canon David Gibbons (Parish Priest of Wimbledon and former Director of the diocesan Centre for Catholic Formation) will talk on ‘The Mass’.

Pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo
Pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo from November 28th to December 5th with Fr Philip Pak. Pickup from Carshalton then by air to Southern Italy to the area associated with Padre Pio.

Saying Goodbye Remembrance Service
A service for anyone who lost a baby in Pregnancy, at birth or in early years, whether the loss was yesterday or 80 years ago.

Baptism Certificates
Baptism certificates may be requested this month (November 2025) for reception next year into a Catholic school. Certificates of Catholic practice will be issued after Christmas for those with a proven record of attendance in this parish.
