Youth Pilgrimages

Mass in Celebration of Marriage with the Archbishop
The Archbishop invites couples celebrating a special anniversary to celebrate with him at the Cathedral. If you are celebrating your 1st/10th/25th/40th/50th/60th + wedding anniversary this year, you can receive an invitation from the Archbishop for the renewal of vows during Mass. Please let the diocese know as soon as possible, and no later than the middle of 4th June 2026, providing the following details: your full names, your home address, and the anniversary you are celebrating. FAITH summer break for children
A few days away for young Catholics to grow in faith, make friends and have fun. The Faith Summer Break is an exciting four days for 11-15 year olds combining both faith and fun activities in a relaxed holiday setting.
The week is structured around getting to know God and each other and includes Holy Mass each day, talks about the Catholic Faith, discussions, prayer, quizzes, art and craft, games, sports and a visit to Thorpe Park.
Those who attend are supervised at all times by experienced youth group leaders. There will be parents, teachers, Catholic youth workers and priests present on-site for the duration of the break.
It costs £250 per child (which includes accommodation, meals and a day trip to Thorpe Park) and it is possible to book either by paying the full amount up-front or a £50 deposit.

Pilgrimage to Lourdes with the diocese
Join Bishop Paul Hendricks on this year’s Southwark Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes.
A pilgrimage is a great opportunity to refresh and renew our relationship with the Lord Jesus, with the help of Our Lady’s prayers.
It is also a blessing to be able to accompany and to be inspired by other pilgrims, some of whom are sick, elderly or disabled.

London Catholic Social Group
London Catholic Social Group is a group for Catholic adults over 35 to meet for regular social and networking events in friendly and relaxed settings with the aim of making new friends, enjoying new experiences or just to socialise. Regular events include walks, meals, karaoke evenings, outings, galleries and an annual Christmas meal.

Wimbledon Young Adults - Prayer and a Pint
An informal social for young adults. A place to build community, pray, have a pint, play piano, sing, play pool, darts and a cash bar.

Hope in Adoration
The Archbishop of Southwark explained that “it is by understanding that the Lord Jesus is present in the Eucharist, that we can begin to understand why worship before the Blessed Sacrament provides such fulfilment”.
He has therefore urged people to make spending time in Eucharistic adoration to find the hope Christ offers a priority for 2025.
